Where to eat in Paris if you are Gluten-Free

Nowadays, many people follow a gluten-free diet. According to Coeliac UK, approximately 10% of the population in the United Kingdom is gluten-free. However, not all of them have coeliac disease, some are intolerant or sensitive to gluten.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that Paris is a great destination for those who follow a gluten-free diet. If you’re gluten-free, you can enjoy croissants and pain au chocolat to your heart’s content.

Gluten-free Meals that were totally worth it:

  • Le Relais de Venise – son entrcôte – Be prepared for the wait! I waited for 1.30 hours in a queue, but it was totally worth it. This restaurant serves only one main dish, which is entrecote and French fries, and believe me, it’s enough!
  • Brasserie Bellanger – For dinner, we enjoyed a delicious grilled steak topped with béarnaise sauce, served with a side of pommes frites. To finish, we indulged in a classic French dessert – Crème brulee.
  • Au Pied De Cochon – Enjoy a heartwarming dish of perfectly cooked pork with creamy mashed potatoes. Finish your meal with two adorable pig-shaped sweets, thoughtfully presented by the waitstaff.
  • Noglu – Go to Noglu and enjoy gluten-free pastries such as croissants, pain au chocolat, scones, and more. This place is absolute gluten-free heaven.
  • Breizh Café – This café offers a delightful selection of gluten-free crepes!
  • Chapon et la chocolaterie du bac – If you are a chocolate lover, then you must visit this fabulous chocolatier that offers an exquisite variety of luxurious chocolates.

Please request the allergens list if any allergies. Although these places have gluten-free options most of them are not exclusively gluten-free and may handle gluten in their kitchens.
