Optional: High Protein
Ingredients:
- 1 Medium Carrot (sliced)
- Gluten-Free Oats
- 1 Egg + 1 Egg White
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 big square/2 small squares of chocolate
Preparation:
- In a bowl, place sliced carrots – it is easier to blend them when they are sliced – place oats, in your quantities or at least three tablespoons, one tablespoon of honey, one egg and one egg white, one teaspoon of baking powder and blend everything.
- Place a bit of the mixture on an anti-adherent frying pan and let it cook for a bit.
- Flip your pancake when the mixture is producing little bubbles.
- Let it cook for a bit and when ready, put it on a plate.
- Repeat these steps with all the mixture.
- Now that you have the pancakes done, add the chocolate squares to a bowl and put it in the microwave for a minute or until the chocolate melts.
- Pour the chocolate on top of the pancakes.
- Grate an orange on top and voilà!
If you want to have extra protein just add one scoop of whey protein and a bit of hot water to your chocolate topping, mix everything and it’s ready.
